Center of Hope in Bladensburg, Ohio is in an ideal location to serve the needs of residents living in the surrounding rural communities.  This part of Ohio has limited resources available, but is strategically located to reach underserved communities.

We work hard to ensure everyone has enough fresh and healthy food to eat...

• Free Market:  In partnership with MidOhio Food Collective, we house the first MidOhio Market in rural Ohio. This is a free market that provides fresh and healthy food to income eligible households.  

​

• Center of Hope operates mobile ​food markets, taking fresh and healthy foods to pick up locations every week.  We also operate a limited number of deliveries to homebound seniors.  

​

• Center of Hope also houses and provides food for other agencies and food programs, helping to ensure fresh fruits and vegetables and other healthy foods are made available at many access points for people who need assistance.

• Our facility is a gathering place.  We offer guest wifi and a welcoming space where people can gather and be in community together.

• We are a place where people can work together and care for one another.  Our volunteers, staff, and partners have a special camaraderie.  We work hard and spread positivity.

• We have many amazing partners who help to provide support, so people who come to Center of Hope have access to resources and information needed to be healthy and well.

• Most food we distribute is fresh and healthy. Note only do we provide healthy foods, but we share recipes and talk to our customers about healthy and delicious ways to eat and prepare foods.  

• We care about spiritual, social, and emotional wellbeing.  Center of Hope is a safe space where people can ask questions.  We offer special events, classes, and other opportunities for people to explore or grow in their faith and personal wellbeing.
